Launch Creader VIII Applications :
Launch Creader VIII will help the technician diagnose issues with engine, transmission, SRS and ABS. It will reset DTCs within these systems. Code definitions and most likely causes for the codes will also be available from within the tool itself.


 

What do Engine and Transmission work for? The transmission works with the engine to provide power to your wheels. It plays a major role in the overall performance of your car whether automatic or manual. In order to check problems immediately, a transmission/transaxle keeps the engine's output optimally matched to the speed and load, that's really good for driving safety. ABS and SRS Systems Diagnosis ABS: An anti-skid braking system is an automobile safety system that allows the wheels on a motor vehicle, maintains tractive contact with the road surface. Prevent the wheels from locking up (ceasing rotation) and avoiding uncontrolled skidding. SRS: The Supplementary Restraint System is basically an air-bag system. This works together with conventional 3-point seat belts and prevents collision on car.

Creader VIII has 3 main functions : 

1. OBDII ENG diagnoses
This function works for cars with OBDII protocol, reads and clears error codes.
How can you check that if your car works with OBDII protocol?
1) OBDII cars includes:
USA cars after 1996; Europe cars after 2002; Aisan cars after 2008, Japan cars after 2005;
2)If you were not sure if you car is included or not, please leave us the information of your car, we will check for you.

2. ENG/AT/ABS/SRS testing
When we say "car supported list", we mean the car testing list for 4 system(ENG/AT/ABS/SRS). You will see the car supported list below, please remember that , that just for ENG/AT/ABS/SRS testing.

Question : System halts when reading data stream. What is the reason?
Answer : It may be caused by a slackened connector. Please turn off the Creader VIII, firmly connect the connector, and switch on it again.
 
Question : Screen of main unit flashes at engine ignition start.
Answer : Caused by electromagnetic disturbing, and this is normal phenomenon.
 
Question : There is no response when communicating with on-board computer.
Answer : Please confirm the proper voltage of power supply and check if the
throttle has been closed, the transmission is in the neutral position, and the
water is in proper temperature.
 
Question : Why are there so many fault codes?
Answer : Usually, itrsquos caused by poor connection or fault circuit grounding.
